Mindful Mathematics

Mindfulness Mathematics

Mindfulness Mathematics is a place for children aged 3-11 to practice mathematical activities which are rich in mindfulness skills.

The skills these activities will encourage include perseverance, problem solving, reflecting, revising, planning, thinking time, reasoning, making links, trying things out, questioning, taking risks and communicating understanding. Ultimately though it is about having fun and making our world seem just that little bit bigger.

If you feel you have a mathematical activity you would like to contribute to the site you can send it via a comment at the bottom of any page on this blog, by email to childrenswork@dharmaschool.co.uk or send a link to the website you have found it at. Many thanks.
